The Role
As the Head of Project Management for our AI powered content studio dedicated to a large automotive client, you will lead and inspire a team of 5 Project Managers, overseeing the project management of content campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Ultimately responsible for the smooth running of the Project Management department and the successful delivery of all campaign briefs.
Responsible for assigning and managing the project management team who are charged with executing end to end delivery of content campaigns.
Oversight across the entire Project Management department to ensure consistent delivery and projects are delivered on time and on brief.
Brief, inspire, and work alongside the team to deliver innovative and creative solutions for all campaign briefs.
Manage and act as a primary day-to-day senior project management contact on larger campaigns.
Identify which Creative/Project Manager teams are best suited to provide solutions to the individual client briefs.
Managing and overseeing use of proprietary WPP AI tools to generate and refine content campaigns.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Project Managers, fostering a collaborative working environment.
Oversee the performance and development of the Project Management team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Allocate projects to the Project Managers, ensuring balanced workloads that align with each team member’s skill set and capacity.
Project Oversight:
Implement and manage efficient project management processes (including utilisation of AI where appropriate), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Oversee the end to end campaign production process.
Be the point of escalation for project risks and support in the identification and mitigation of risks.
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy) to ensure cohesive execution of projects.
Operational Excellence:
Monitor and manage project financials, ensuring healthy tracking of budget and scope.
Lead resource planning and management, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources across projects and problem solving resourcing issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Champion continuous process improvement and integrating learnings from previous projects to improve ways of working.
Collaborate with senior agency leadership to refine project management best practices and contribute to the broader agency project management structure.
Key Skills:
Knowledge of how AI can be utilised in the creation and delivery of content campaigns.
Awareness of ethical and regulatory considerations when developing and executing campaigns using AI.
Deep understanding of production processes for digital and social channels.
Strong leadership abilities, with a proven ability to inspire and drive high performance of project management teams.
Exceptional project management skills.
High level of financial acumen, with experience in managing project budgets, scopes, and timelines for content campaigns.
Ability to handle complex production timelines and deliverables.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to navigate challenges.

The pay range for this role is $170K-$190K. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Salary is subject to change based on factors such as geographic location and cost of living in location of hire. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
