Role: Reactive Creator/Community Manager
We're looking for a proactive, community-driven individual to foster meaningful engagement and maintain a healthy relationship with our social media communities for a portfolio of brands for Mars. In this role, you'll be responsible for actively listening to our social audience, responding to customer feedback, and identifying trends that align with the brand’s content pillars, voice and goals. You'll also be the first line of defense when it comes to potential reputational concerns, quickly flagging issues as they arise. This requires you to stay plugged into the social conversation at all times, using tools like Pulsar and Sprinklr to monitor sentiment and drive actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Community Management: Monitor all social media platforms in scope, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster a positive community around the brand within the digital landscape. Flag possible crisis situations and liaise with the client and team to escalate appropriately.
Content Posting: Write post copy optimized for our audiences, post content according to the planned schedule, and ensure maximum reach by optimizing posting times.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of all our social media activities. Generate monthly reports on engagement, reach, followership, and other KPIs. Liaise with influencer, content creation, and media planning and buying teams to deliver quarterly reports.
Paid Advertising: Suggest which content should be considered for paid promotion on social platforms.
SEO: Ensure all content is search engine optimized to increase organic reach and visibility.
Staying Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest social media trends, suggest proactive opportunities, and share platform updates to ensure the brand's social media strategy remains effective and relevant.
Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitors' social media activities to gain insights and refine our brands’ strategies.
Skills and Experience:
Experience in moderating online communities, responding to inquiries, and flagging potential reputational issues.
Strong familiarity with social listening and engagement tools like Pulsar, Sprinklr, or similar platforms.
Proven ability to connect with online communities and drive engagement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing brand tone and voice across multiple channels.
Ability to interpret and act on community and sentiment metrics to improve strategy.
Hands-on experience managing social media for brands, including responding to customer concerns in real-time.

The pay range for this role is $80,000-$90,000 annually. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Salary is subject to change based on factors such as geographic location and cost of living in location of hire.
