Business Director 3m FTC
The Role
We are looking for a Business Director to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial client service team working onsite with our Vuse, Velo and glo clients.
The successful candidate will be the engine of the team, working with the internal teams and with the various clients to deliver best in class content at scale. The candidate will be looking after everything from always on and reactive social and wider digital campaigns.
This is a 3 month FTC with possibility to extend.
Key responsibilities
Liaising across our global creative studio team (called Beat Studio) and other global agencies to ensure we are across all relevant information and able to drive best in class social and digital content campaigns.
Developing playbooks across the partnership portfolio of motorsport and electronic dance music, as well as brand-focussed playbooks and ideas
Cultivating a strong relationship with the global client and being the go-to person for other members of the team
Taking the lead on strategy and ideas development with Planning and Creative
Working with internal colleagues, wider agency partners and external suppliers to produce these campaigns to the highest standard possible
Being responsible for fee agreements and overall profitability
Planning ahead, understanding the client’s long-term objectives and ensuring the agency is fit to meet them
Creating and supporting cross-agency collaboration, spotting opportunities to work better together
Owning and driving key proactive projects across the team to evolve our offering and improve the quality of work.
Skills and Experience
Strong analytical skills, ability to turn information into actionable insights
Ability to develop strategy into tangible deliverables
A passion for and ability to drive forward good creative work
Negotiation skills – ability to work through impasses within agency and/or client to find appropriate solutions
Excellent at fostering close client working relationships.
Detailed industry knowledge to drive opportunities for the client and agency
Ability to develop and nurture more junior team members and support everyone on the team to achieve their full career potential
Ability to foresee potential problems from past experience and identify multiple workable solutions to these problems/contingency plans
Tenacity in the face of resistance and ability to remove any obstacles preventing the achievement of excellence
